The third level gets a lot more intense, and I can see the game steadily getting more intense as it goes on. The second level actually had a boss at the end of it, although he was seriously easy with my mix of bunny-hopping, button mashing, and getting him stuck in the corner facing a wall. Although it's not a good idea to randomly swing your sword around, as I found out you have a tendency to kill your friends, woops. I managed to find some friends on the second level, and when I freed them they joined me in my escape, and even proceeded to punch a couple goblins right in the face for me that was pretty handy. If i'm going to be honest the game felt a little shallow to begin with, but the game does steadily open up with more to do. I was hoping they wouldn't just stand there, so at least they didn't disappoint me, although their futile arrows met my shield, and my sword met their face.

Luckily the archers are a bit smarter, as they actually try to keep you at a distance to shoot. I managed to complete the first level with only finding a shield right at the end, so I had to lure the goblin like creatures into rooms with traps, and have them blindly step on them like the ugly morons they are. If you like real-time dungeon crawlers then you will probably love this. It's a procedurally generated dungeon crawler with some really smooth looking graphics and fast game-play.

The Linux version landed yesterday, and we have been able to give it a crack to see what it's like. In TinyKeep players will embrace the role of a hopeless prisoner held deep in a forgotten dungeon who one day wakes up to find themselves mysteriously released.
